Every time my adventure cat and I see wildlife like this, I think: How lucky are we? I swear every single encounter feels like winning the lottery. But lately, I’ve been thinking about how these animals have absolutely no idea that humans are making decisions that can affect their future. They don’t know where protected land ends. They don’t know which decisions are being made on their behalf. They just know this is home. And the more time I spend in their home, the more I care about protecting it. That’s why I’m proud to partner with @DefendersofWildlife to Vote for Wildlife Whatever your politics, when you cast your vote, I hope wildlife and the places they depend on have a place on your list of things worth protecting.
