As well as a crowned Boleyn falcon and Tudor carvings of “eavesdroppers” hidden in the roof. I was always so fascinated by Anne Boleyn so it felt chilling and so bittersweet to imagine Anne walking through the same rooms and the exact same corridors as I do now… seeing where she was at the peak of her reign, her subsequent losses and where she was told of Henry’s orders, who, by the way, was the same man who had once sent her 17 love letters, even drawing love hearts around their initials.
