You think the USA is only big cities, and iconic landmarks buttt when you get to Arizona, you seee just how wild and stunning it iss!! 🤯🏜️ It has some seriously wild geography, one of the world’s most famous natural wonders, landscapes shaped by millions of years of erosion and volcanic activity, plus some of the mostttt scenic roads you will ever drive on!! ⛰️ The Colorado River has been carving through the region for millions of years, exposing layers of rock that take us hundreds of millions of years back in time. And the crazy part is that it changes drasticallyy with elevation, so you can go from scorching desert landscapes to cool mountain forests within hourss!! It’s also home to the Sonoran Desert, the only place where the iconic saguaro cactus grows naturally, and to some of the largest ponderosa pine forests in the world. 🌵 This is going to be my favourite part of the USA!! The wild, ancient, beautiful kind. ❤️ @visittheusa @visit_arizona #VisitTheUSA #100YearsOnTheRoad

I have seen the Grand Canyon in a hundred pictures before, but NOTHING can prepare you for actually standing there and seeing how incredibly vast it is. You look at it once…then again…and again and your brain still can’t fully process what you’re looking at. BILLIONS of years of natural history, not just millions!! The colours, the layers, the tiny little Colorado River running below - unreal!! @visitheusa #VisitTheUSA #100YearsOnTheRoad @visit_arizona
