#ad I’ve tried it all, and after a decade since my fear of flying started, this pre-flight ritual really does help me. having access to the Global Lounge Collection® with my @americanexpress Platinum Card® has become such a helpful part of that ritual. before a flight, I get to have a great meal, hydrate, do my breathing exercises in a quiet corner, and get my coffee fix (but make it decaf!). and if I’m there for a long layover after a day of traveling, a hot shower can do wonders for helping me relax, too. a few things help during the flight too: noise-canceling headphones to block out all the sounds, a comfortable lie-flat seat when possible so my body feels safe and relaxed, and a seat in the front of the plane OR over the wings for less turbulence. if you’re afraid of flying, too, try my ritual before your next flight and let me know if it helps! #AmexAmbassador Terms Apply
